My Everyday In And Out Of The Shower Skin Care Routine

I'm going to talk about my current daily in and out of the shower skin care routine. This is not my full routine however is the first and last essential steps from when I get a shower at night. Basically this routine skips out my cleanser as I am going to do a different post on this with a review.

First step...
I first like to remove the 'bulk' of my make up. So I take my Nivea double effective eye make up remover, to remove all of my eye makeup as I find this really removes all the eyeliner or eye-shadow I have had on that day. I find this is a important step as I don't have to worry about rubbing my eyes too much during cleansing and getting pander eyes the following day. I then take my Bioderma. Which is a cleaners that almost feels like water on your skin. It is great for sensitive or irritated skin. I use this to again get the most of the base of my make up off my skin. Bioderma is great. Its gentle and soothing and just makes your skin feel clean without that tight feeling from when you use wipes. This is relevantly quite difficult to get your hands on however there is drugstore dupes which I love just the same for example L'Oreal Miceller Solution.

Second Step...
This is where I get in the shower. This part of my routine swaps and changes depending on what I have been doing to what make-up I was wearing that day. This is why I am going to do a completely different post to explain it in depth. But to tell quickly this is where I deeply cleanse. With either a face wash or face balm etc.

Third Step...
This is not an essential step for me but I just like to do it!. I take my bioderma on a clean cotton pad and swipe it over my skin just to make sure I have every last bit of make up. I like doing this as the bioderma is gentle. I then take my Avene beauty spring water spray, and gently sprites it over my skin. This is fantastic. It calms any redness or irritation, this is similar to the pricey caudalie beauty elixir however it does actually benefit your skin. I have lots to say about this products so keep and eye out for a review.

Final Step...
Now my last steps are holy grail. I do this every night. I firstly use my Tropic Skin Care moisturizer which I have done a separate post on. I apply moisturizer first as I want all the natural ingredients to soak in my skin. The ingredients in Tropic skin care are completely natural and have benefiting agents. I then take my Boots Eye cream which is another favorite product of mine. It not only moisturizers but brightens the eye area. This is a product I have noticed differences in my skin with.  While that is soaking in I take my EOS lip balm. I love this flavor which is strawberry. I finally take my boots botanics facial oil. Which I love. This oil is pretty inexpensive but works brilliant. It has a pleasant almond scent and massages amazingly into the skin. In the morning your face feels glowing and hydrated. Perfect for the winter time.

Tropic Skin Care Review

I recently was invited to a Tropic Skin party I loved it and decided to make a short blog post about my experience and about the products I purchased.  The party is basically hosted by a Tropic ambassador who explains about each product and gives you the chance to try them out for yourself. The brand is unique and different and has a small story behind it. This was also explained in the beginning. The brand is founded by a young women called Susan Ma. The company is now co-owned by Sir Alan Sugar. All products from the range are complexly made from natural ingredients, no chemicals just all natural to prove this I want you to go look at your day to day face cream check the ingredients. Can you understand and know what all them ingredients are? With tropic the answer would be Yes.  The party was great fun, it's a chance to get all your friends and family together and I before forget to mention the person who organised the party gets a percentage of the profit to spend on any of the tropic range.

The products...

Tropic sell a range of products from multi-use oils to face cream to bamboo clothes. Now the products are more on the higher end prices(ranges from 15-20)but the effort and quality of ingredients put in is definitely worth it. Susan Ma did huge amounts research on ingredients which will benefit skin. The products are also especially made for sensitive and eczema prone skin.

Review...
I decided to try out the face cream, lip balm and the bamboo cloth. All my products came up to £30. I thought this was a reasonable price. I actually overheard someone say 'if you believe in the products and how they work you will not even put the price past you as they really do make a difference
'. I was very wary about the brand i have never heard anything about it and therefore did not know if it was gonna be any good.

The face cream...£20
I have been using the cream for more than a month what can I say I love it. The smell is lovely nice and light defiantly something that would be used in a spa and I will never get bored of it. The cream is light yet moisturizes fantastically. My skin feels a lot healthier and looks it. A little goes a long way and I can see it lasting for a good while. I do get the occasional dry patch with this I have had no issues my skin has become a dream and it is fantastic for under make up as it is so light.  Definite 9/10. Yes would recommend.

The lip balm.... £5
Now I'm disappointed as I had such high hopes. However this product was a complete fail. Firstly the balm is to hard. It's really difficult to smooth over your lips and even get out the small jar. It has a yellowish tint so you have to be extra careful when applying that it's not around the outer lip. It does not hydrate and once applied it's soon disappears. now I, confused is this my lips sucking in the moister and therefore is it benefiting my lips? I wasn't partially happy with this however it was only £5 but still pricy for a lip balm.  Unfortunately 2/10. No would not recommend.

Bamboo cloth...£5
Now I know how can I review a muslin cloth. Well this bamboo cloth which is basically a muslin cloth however it is made out of bamboo. Now bamboo naturally cleans itself. I don't know how but it does. Now the whole concept is so that you don't have a dirty cloth hanging around in your bathroom.  Amazing I hate dirty cloths hanging on my radiator so decided to give it a go. The cloth is lovely really thick and soft and is lovely to take of make up. It could be used on a baby it's that gentle. The cloth had a nice scent however the downside is that it doesn't stay complete clean which I expected however it does stay a lot cleaner than a normal muslin cloth. I love this 8/10. Yes would most certainly recommend.

My Drugstore wishlist!

Hi!

So I don't know about you but when I see new offers and introductory offers on the Boots or Superdrug website I feel like my brain alerts and wakes up! (Slightly Dramatic). I know its crazy but before I buy any make up unless its super cheap or I extremely need or want it, I will always research the product and look for the best offers. I find it is a great way of saving money and you can end up getting more make up with the money you have saved. Anyways(I am actually on a saving ban at the moment while I am saving for my holiday in a few weeks) BUT I can't not when boots have got buy one get one half price on selected products and when Super-drug have fantastic savings I just can't. So here is my list of items that I plan on purchasing in the next for days(props tomorrow).

*Little tip, I recommend to keep looking on the boots or super-drug website you can see all their deals and they tend to change monthly. Once you see that product you've been wanting for ages go on offer you will not feel as guilty purchasing and you can feel satisfied with your bargain*

Okay my first need/want... L'Oreal Eau De Tint. Now this is brand new to the UK and as far as I am aware it is at super-drug. Super-drug and boots they both have a fantastic introductory offer of £6.99. I think this is a steal pretty much half price as the retail price is £9.99. Now I am not sure if this foundation is meant to be the UK version of the Magic Nude Liquid powder as the packaging is identical but I think its a pretty good chance I'm going to be getting this. I'm just going to do some research and see which skin type its targeted at.(I have dry skin) If this is a match for the MNLP I doubt I will purchase as ItsJudyTime on YouTube said it was no no for dry skin. then The bottle is gorgeous and looks so high end.

L'Oreal Eau de Teint

My next want/need is another foundation the Revlon Nearly Naked and the Revlon Color-stay 16 Hour eye shadow palette. Now I know why would I want another foundation well firstly I really want to try the L'Oreal Nude Magique but the nearly naked has been on my wishlist for a while and at the moment Boots are doing buy one get one half price sooo I'm unsure I have also being wanting the Revlon eye shadow palette for a while I have had them before and loved them I really want the purple shades which is something different for me.

Another product I want to try is the Maybelline brow drama mascara, which again is a new product I'm really interested in trying it. I haven't heard many people talk about it but it looks good and unique and that is enough for me to want to buy it. (shame on me)

Okay this post is getting crazy long but a deal I wanted to let you know about is that Soap&Glory are doing buy one get on half price in Boots. This is the best time for me to get my favorite moisturizer and shower wash. I love the butter me up, its different from the typical Soap&Glory scent.

What is your favorite Drugstore product and what deals have you found let me know...

Ebay Finds and wishlist!

Hello...

So recently I find myself always on eBay! I am always browsing beauty or hair products which I can't find in the drugstore. eBay is amazing for finding that lipstick that was discontinued last month, trust me eBay is not only good for selling  your unwanted items and making a little profit for yourself but its a great way of finding some budget finds. So in this blog post am goanna share not only things I have bought but also what is on my wish list.

My first find was Bath and Body works hand sanitizers! Now I know (what!! why do hand sanitizers make you excited) well I just love them the fact their from America and they smell and look amazing well yeah that's why I love them!
I have found a great eBay seller who sells them for a great price £1.99 (Bargain) she sells lots of different scents and even has Halloween edition.  I purchased eek!yummy mummy marshmallow and Pumpkin caramel Latte. I actually can't believe how scented they are.

I also have my eyeing up a eos lip bam Balm. They are available in the USA but I have seen them in some Harvey Nichols stores but they are quite pricey for £8.99. I am actually going to Hong Kong later this year so I am planning on picking one up there but if your are on the hunt for a eos lip balm try eBay one of the cheapest I could find was from a seller called 'americanbranduk' she is selling them for £5.45 with free delivery. She also sells all the scents.

Kim Kardishan- Strawberry Sorbet

I will be doing another posts on my EBay finds and wish list so keep a eye out!

What are your eBay finds! Let me know...

Review: Quick Fix Facials

Hello!

For the past month or two I have been trying out the newly launched quick fix facials which are available from boots for £4.99.The brand has 4 different types of mask for a variety of skin problems for example a Exfoliating mask for blackheads and blocked pores and claims to have up to 10 facial uses. I was actually really eager to try one of them so I picked up the Brightening Peel For Dull and Uneven Skin Tones.

Quick Fix Mask
I first thought the packaging looked cheap and nothing special on it, it claims that if your have problematic skin which needs a quick fix that this is the solution. It states which products are packed into the mask and explains what each of the special ingredients do to help. I really liked this idea as if the mask was to help my skin dramatically I could look for other products with these ingredients in.  The packaging is simple and plain and for the price nothing to complain about.

The 'solutions'
My likes...
I have to say I really like this mask its a quick and easy product to use and is perfect for someone who likes to use a facial on a weekly basis. I have to be honest I didn't find that my skin looked brightened it just looked a lot fresher and cleaner. My skin felt softer and it felt that the mask had really got the make up out of my pores. The mask has a pleasant smell like a said before it smelt fresh and clean. Once I applied the mask it tingled which was nice it felt like the product was working.

My dislikes...
One thing I hated is that the mask was a nightmare to apply and remove, I know this is silly but it was difficult to spread on my face and even it out. When removing it didn't peal off like a usual peel of mask does, I had to use a flannel to sort of rub it off.

I guess the important question is.. Would your repurchase? Yes I would however I would try another skin problem maybe the mega moisture gel mask. They are great for the price and are handy to have in your skin care routine however nothing hugely special and life changing.

First Impressions: Maybelline Baby Lips

Hello...

So today I thought it was time that I talked about probably one of the most talked about lip products? (Drum roll please) The Maybelline Baby lips. The Baby lips have recently made an appearance in the UK. For many UK bloggers and beauty lovers this was very exciting. For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to get my hands on these bad boys but they are always sold out in boots and I have yet to see them in Superdrug's stores. (They are available on their online store). So the other day I managed to find a boots which had full stock(Woohoo). As always boots usually have a 3 for 2 offer on so it was the perfect chance for me to get a couple.

I decided to get Intense care, peach kiss and pink punch. Now firstly I have to say that the packaging feels very cheap however is cute looking. They basically are packaged like a typical lip balm from Neiva or Vaseline etc. The intense care is nice and soft and feels nourishing however after using through out the day for the past week I feel that it isn't making a difference I feel that my usual pot of Vaseline does a much better job at treating my lips. The peach kiss balm is very nice, I think this would be the perfect balm for a holiday. It has a slight shimmer and is quite nude on the lips but like the intense care feels soft and pleasant on the lips. Now the last one Pink punch is a hard one for me. I am not sure whether I hate or love it. It has a lovely smell but I don't know if I feel that it is like them lipsticks you used when you were a kid. I think I will wear this in the summer for a little pop of colour.  Overall I think the Maybelline Baby lips are a lovely product but to be honest nothing special. I would try other colours if Maybelline brought out more. What do you think about the Maybelline Baby lips? What one is our favourite?

Maybelline Baby Lips are available at Boots and Superdrug online or in store!

Sinful Colors Nail Varnish!

So recently I have become a nail varnish addict. Especially when Boots and Superdrug have a 3 for 2 offer on. I just can't resist. Anyways the new nail brand which is very popular in the US has been  launched in the UK for a while now and in my opinion it is amazing. The polishes are a steal at £1.99 a bottle.

The four key features I like from a nail varnish and a brand is..
  1. To be long lasting(Chip free for at least 3 days)
  2. Have good pigmentation (Only needs to have 1-2 coats)
  3. Shiny and to look high quality
  4. Reasonable prices
I can happily say that all Sinful colours nail varnishes are long lasting when I first tried them I was shocked. It was in great condition on the 3rd day, for me this is quite hard to come across in a nail varnish as most chip soon after applying. I secondly found that the pigmentation of the varnish was incredible. You only need to use 1-2 coats to get a nice solid colour. The only thing I will say is that the shade 24/7 is very gloopy and streaky. Its a lot harder to apply and get a nice even 'high quality look', so this is my only downfall. All the shades have a nice shine once applied. Especially Mint apple which has a beautiful shimmer. Sinful colours ticks all my boxes (Woop! Woop!) Did I not forget to mention the bottles are also super cute very similar to china glaze. The brush also is a good size making it easier for application.

Overall all I will definitely be purchasing these nail varnishes again. They are too me just as good as Maybelline and Barry M nail varnishes which are usually priced around 3.99-4.99. These polishes can be hard to find, they are only available in selected boots stores. You can get them online too. If all else fails try amazon and EBay.

Are you going to be trying these polishes my favas Mint Apple and Timbleberry?
